Five other adults were wounded and are at the Arima General Hospital.

Reports also indicated that when the five were sent in the hospital the gunmen were circulating facility looking to find the wounded and “finish the job.”

Hours after, Harewood-Christopher used the end of a Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on the seizure of $100 million worth of marijuana to comment on the quadruple murders.

She said, “While the TTPS is buoyed by this successful narcotics breakthrough, we have no choice but to regroup and get on the ground to find the perpetrator(s) of the multiple murder which occurred early this morning in Guanapo.

“Four persons all under the age of 20, including a 10-year-old child, lost their lives, while five others were wounded. Officers of the Homicide Bureau, CSI and all other relevant personnel have been deployed.”

Just as a member of the public shared information which led to the seizure of the drugs, Harewood-Christopher appealed to anyone who has information that will lead to the capture of the persons responsible for the murders to share.

“Partnering with the TTPS works, stay anonymous, stay nameless, stay unknown, but don’t stay silent,” she said.
