THE wife of a medical doctor died in an early morning vehicular accident on Friday.
The doctor who was the driver of the vehicle is being treated at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for his injuries.
Police reports are that Dr Allan Richard Lalla was heading north along the Uriah Butler Highway (UBH) when the vehicle skidded off the roadway, flipped on its hood and landed in an empty lot near the Chaguanas flyover around 4.30 am.
Dr Lalla’s wife, Nadia Lalla, was in the front passenger seat. She died at the scene.
The Lallas are from Point Pleasant Park, Cunupia.
