D’Abadie Woman Dies in Crash

A 25-YEAR-OLD woman from D’Abadie woman died in an early morning accident on Sunday.

Nelina Williams, of Redwood Drive, La Florissante died at the scene of the accident along the Solomon Hochoy Highway near the Tarouba flyover.

Reports are that she was driving a grey Toyota Altis along the highway at around 3 am when she crashed into a pole and flipped over several times.

Williams, an employee of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, was the lone occupant in the vehicle. She was flung from the vehicle and ended up in the median where she died.

Police were informed of the accident around 3.20 am by a man who was driving along the highway when he observed the vehicle broken into several parts on the northbound lane of the highway.

They believe that Williams lost control of vehicle while driving. 

Those who knew her took to social media to express their shock and condolences.
