POLICE arrest a 36-year-old D’Abadie man on Thursday for being in the possession of ammunition and marijuana.
This happened during an anti-crime exercise in the Northern Division conducted in the Maloney district.
A 36-year-old man of Mausica Road, D’Abadie, was arrested for possession of a magazine containing 11 rounds of ammunition and 337 grammes of marijuana.
The exercise, conducted between 2.30pm and 5.30pm, on Thursday included officers of the Maloney Police Station, Northern Division Intelligence Unit, the Northern Division Gang Unit, Northern Division Task Force, Areas East, West, Central and Canine Unit.
Officers also searched several apartments in the district which resulted in 17 rounds of ammunition being found along an apartment corridor.
