The Ministry of Health is reminding the public that at this time, Covid-19 vaccines are being administered to people with existing appointments only.
No walk-in vaccination requests are being facilitated.
This includes the vaccination sites at the Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah and the National Racquet Centre of Trinidad and Tobago in Tacarigua as well as the 24 designated Covid-19 vaccination health facilities.
In a press release issued on Thursday, the Ministry of Health added that while new appointments were not currently being given, healthcare workers, people with non-communicable diseases and those who are 60 years and older may contact the various Covid-19 vaccination facilities, via the call-in or WhatsApp numbers, to be included in the list of eligible persons who are interested in receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, when new stock becomes available.
The ministry also reminded the public that all persons with underlying medical conditions should liaise with their healthcare provider before taking the Covid-19 vaccine.
