Covid-19 Deaths Cross 1,900 in T&T

SINCE the Covid-19 pandemic started in Trinidad and Tobago last year more than 1,900 people have succumbed to the virus.

The death toll now stands at 1,908.

The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#912) reported 17 more deaths on Thursday.

The update also reported 537 new cases taken from samples during the period November 14 to 17.

Patients in step-down Facilities: 98

Patients in state quarantine: 108

Patients in home isolation: 6,835

Total persons vaccinated with 1st dose of a Two Dose Regime: 635, 352

Total persons vaccinated with 2nd dose of a Two Dose Regime: 591,976

Total persons vaccinated with a Single Dose Regime: 39, 984

Total persons with a Completed Vaccination Regime: 631, 960

Percentage of patients in the parallel healthcare system who are not fully vaccinated: 91.7% (5,346 out of 5,830 ) based on data from July 22, 2021 to November 3, 2021.
