A fuel station that reported contamination of fuel on Saturday had its sales immediately suspended.
In a press release on Monday, the Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) stated that it was aware of the contamination that occurred at the NP Orange Hill Service Station in Tobago.
NP is assuring the public that the contamination was contained and a full investigation and analysis of the matter was being conducted with a promise to have the matter resolved as quickly as possible.
NP stated, “Any affected customer(s) who believes that their vehicle may have been compromised in any way, should first lodge a complaint at the service station where the product was purchased and provide an appropriate fuel sample as evidence.”
