Bmobile Launches World Cup App

BMOBILE has lauched a streaming app for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar that begins on Saturday.

In a release on Friday, bMobile stated that the app B+ (bmobile plus) was an interactive world-class mobile application developed to connect football fans in Trinidad and Tobago more deeply and effortlessly to the game they love.

It stated that the app will provide fans access to live football matches, high-definition (HD) streaming, on-demand capabilities for match replays and team and player statistics.

A single game pass costs $50, a team pass which allows access to view all matches of your favourite team costs $100, a premium pass to access all matches is priced at $150 while the special GML pass (access to all matches plus GML’s digital bundle) amounts to $195, the release stated.

The release stated, “Bmobile is proud to be the only local provider offering a dedicated mobile application and website for all things World Cup.”

It added, “The B+ app is available to all lovers of the game regardless of mobile network provider. The first match on Sunday 20, November (Qatar vs Ecuador) will be free of charge to anyone in Trinidad and Tobago who downloads the B+ app or accesses the game via bmobileplus.com.”

At the launch of Guardian Media’s Home of Football on StVincent Street, Port of Spain, TSTT’s Chief Executive Officer Lisa Agard said the company is thrilled to make the FIFA World Cup 2022 readily available to anyone who wants to watch it, anywhere in Trinidad and Tobago.

She said, “As the proud exclusive owner of the mobile streaming rights for Qatar 2022 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago, bmobile is happy to facilitate making the World Cup easily accessible to all. At the heart of why we do all of this is simple; technology.”

The release stated that the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, AMPLIA, also partnered with GML to bring to customers an exclusive 2022 FIFA World Cup channel which will feature 24/7 content including all matches and commentary, spectator views and additional content in between matches.
