POLICE are looking for a Biche man who escaped their custody.
A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated that Devon Lewis, 34, of Charuma Village, Biche, was charged with assault with intent to rob.
He escaped while being transported to the Valencia Police Post on Saturday.
He was last seen running south along Gilkes Street, Sangre Grande, the release stated.
Officers of the Eastern Division Task Force, CID, Valencia Police Post with assistance from the Canine Unit were conducting a search of the area.
