This time they have removed an eight-inch diameter steel pipe that connects the tank to the distribution system, as well as the rail protecting the top of the tank at the Bennett Storage Tank, Los Bajos.

In a separate incident, the release stated that on April 5, bandits vandalised and removed parts of the authority’s Well #8, which affected the water supply within the Fyzabad community. The authority was asking the public to report all acts of vandalism or any suspicious activities at all installation sites to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) or contact WASA’s customer call center toll free at 800- 4420 \4426.
