AN autopsy conducted on Vanna Girod, 30, from Valsayn revealed that she drowned while in Tobago.
On January 25, Girod was reported missing at the Shirvan Road Police Station and was last seen walking nearby the villa she was staying in Arnos Vale.
Police said there was no evidence to show that someone was responsible for her death and investigations are also continuing.
Distraught family members and friends had shared her photo widely on social media hoping that she would be found alive soon. That hope ended with her body being found at a secluded beach on January 26.
Girod, a singer and an actress, is the daughter of James Girod who in the late 1980s was left for dead by perpetrators at age 27.
Girod (J) survived being strangled, drowned in a river and stabbed in the neck.
He was rescued by a truck driver and his perpetrators imprisoned.
