THE Peoples National Movement (PNM) Government has not accounted for the $60 billion it spent following the last Budget.
This according Phillip Edward Alexander, of the Progressive Empowerment Party (PEP), in a release on Sunday.
The 2022 Budget debate ended in the Lower House on Saturday.
Alexander said, “The budget is the accounting by government for what they did and plan to do with your money, not another chance for the PNM and UNC to fight about which side is the bigger bunch of criminals, who thief more, who wanted more by international authorities, or who kill who dog.
“The 2022 Budget wound up without these stunt artists accounting for what they did with the last $60 billion and that is unacceptable. We need to know where the money went before another dollar is spent.”
He said the people have the power and not the politicians and called for all 41 members of Parliament to be fired.
Alexander said, “It is time to fire all 41. There is absolutely no reason for the people to continue to put up with any of this.
“You have to decide if piling on more debt to your children already overburdened with the bills for the last rounds of corruption is acceptable.
“You get to decide if failure to account for the across the board dysfunctionality in the highest authority in the land is okay.
They have no power. Zero. They rely on you to put them there and keep them there. The choice is not between PNM and UNC.
“The choice is between good governance and whatever the hell is going on in that Parliament.”
He said, “This morning, after days, weeks, months and years of dysfunctional shirt and tie racism and corruption, looking at what passes for leadership in this country – the blatant theft of poor people money, no water, the worst roads in the world, no jobs, no chance to ever own a home, crime, murder, mayhem, the hundreds of millions that you slave to pay taxes to give them the lifestyles they enjoy, is any of it acceptable to you?”
Alexander called for the people to unite for strong leadership and a call to join him.
