AG Meets New British High Commissioner

NEWLY appointed British High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago Harriet Cross has met with Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Faris Al-Rawi.

In a press release on Wednesday, the Office of the Attorney General stated  that the meeting was held  at the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs, AGLA Tower, Government Plaza in  Port-of-Spain.

Cross was accompanied by Caroline Alcock, Deputy High Commissioner and Maia Hibben, Justice and Security Policy Officer, British High Commission. Also present at the meeting were Vyana Sharma, Head, Anti-Terrorism Unit and Farzana Nazir-Mohammed, Director, Legal, Criminal Justice Unit,  from the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs.

Cross takes over from her predecessor Tim Stew and is the first appointed female British High Commissioner to the country.
