HOURS after the High Court granted an injunction to former police commissioner Gary Griffith, it was appealed by the Attorney General.
The injunction was granted by Justice Devindra Rampersad on Tuesday preventing Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley from laying the executive summary of the Firearm Users Licenses (FUL) audit report before the Parliament.
At a press conference in July, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said the findings of the report were disturbing and he noted that he sent a copy to the Police Service Commission.
In his application for the injunction, Griffith claimed that it violated natural justice since he was not given a right to respond to allegations against him.
