PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley tours the Reliance refining and petrochemical complex in Jamnagar in India.
A post on his Facebook page on Thursday stated, “Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Keith Rowley is in Mumbai on the invitation of the largest private sector corporation in India – Reliance Industries Limited.
“The company, owners of the Indian Premier League cricket team, the Mumbai Indians, has expressed an interest in establishing a cricket academy in Trinidad.
“Reliance is also a dominant figure in the global energy industry.
“Today (Thursday 16th May, 2024), Prime Minister Rowley and his delegation were given an extensive tour of the company’s refining and petrochemical complex in Jamnagar.
“The tour also included in-depth presentations on the company’s drive towards new energy production, including solar energy and biofuels.”
Also with Dr Rowley are his wife Sharon, Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan and Minister of Sport and Community Development Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis.
