EIGHT persons died from Covid-19 on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1008) reported 412 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 130,844 boosters have been administered while 50.1% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The 8 deaths included:

2 middle-aged men

2 middle-aged women
Five persons out of the eight had multiple comorbidities, while two others had one comorbidity each and one had no known medical condition.
Some of the comorbidities included diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, dementia, asthma, a history of strokes and schizophrenia.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 12,860 or 83.5%, while 2,543 or 16.5% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to February 2, 2022.
