A 52-year-old Sangre Grande man is granted bail in the sum of $20,000 after he was allegedly found in the compound of the National Operations Centre at Knowsley Building, Dundonald Street, Port-of-Spain.
Evealance Campbell, 52, of Sangre Grande, appeared virtually before acting Deputy Chief Magistrate Cherril-Anne Antoine at the Port-of-Spain Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
He is charged with being found on an enclosed premises for unlawful purposes.
The accused pleaded not guilty and was granted bail with a surety to be approved by the Registrar in the sum of $20,000, or in default of a cash alternative of $6,000.
Police said that around 8 am on Sunday, a man was detained by security officers after he jumped the wall of Knowsley Building- the site of the National Operation Fusion Centre.
The matter was adjourned to February and transferred to the Port-of-Spain Third Magistrate’s Court.
