FIVE people, four men and one 54-year-old woman, all with comorbidities, have died in Tobago due to Covid-19.

The latest update from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection on Tuesday stated that the ages of the four men were, 42, 63, 69 and 79.

There were 71 new cases of the virus reported with 1,428 active ones.

The total number of persons who have died as a result of Covid- 19 in Tobago is now 208.
