AN earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale shakes parts of Trinidad on Tuesday afternoon.
The UWI Seismic Research Centre said it occurred at 5.24 p.m. at latitude 10.82 north and longitude 62.00 west at a depth of 10 km.
It was located 57 km west-north-west of Port-of-Spain, 82 km of west-north-west of Arima and 87 km north-west of San Fernando, according to the centre.
Comments on the centre’s Facebook page revealed that it was felt in places including Diego Martin, Santa Cruz, Charlieville, Woodbrook and Port-of-Spain.
