THREE more people have died of Covid-19 on Thursday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,087) reported 507 new positive Covid-19 cases.
The three deaths include:
- Two elderly males; and
- One elderly female.
Two persons had multiple comorbidities while one person had no known comorbidity.
The ministry also stated that 152, 175 boosters have been administered while 50.8% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 14,914 or 81.5%, while 3,396 or 18.5% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to May 11, 2022.

March: 122 deaths, 10,093 cases
April: 75 deaths, 9,622 cases
May 1: 2 deaths, 468 cases;
May 2: 2 deaths, 295 cases;

May 4: 5 deaths, 555 cases;
May 5: 2 deaths, 418 cases;
May 6: 0 deaths, 531 cases;
May 7: 2 deaths, 754 cases;
