Point Fortin Man Dies after Being Shot Several Times

A 52-year-old Point Fortin man succumbs to wounds after being on Friday.

Police said Evril Jeffrey, of 17th Street Techier Village, was at a house under construction at 16 th Street, when a gunman walked up to him and fired several shots.

He was wounded in the chest neck, right shoulder, left forearm and lower back.

Jeffrey, a logistic officer at Atlantic, was taken to the Point Hospital and then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital where he died around 7.45 pm while being treated.

Police said he also owned an electronics store in Point Fortin.
