Local Government Elections in Trinidad will be held on December 2.
A release by the Office of the Prime Minister on Friday stated:
“Dr the Hon. Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to announce that the Local Government Elections shall be held on December 2 and that the Writs of Elections shall be issued in due course.”
The ruling People’s National Movement (PNM) will present its 139 local government candidates at the party’s Annual Convention on November 10.
The United National Congress (UNC) completed its screening exercise on October 1.
