TOBAGO police have detained six people for being in the country illegally.
Four Venezuelans and two Cubans were handed over to Immigration Division after they were discovered by officers of the Crown Point Police Station.
The Cubans who have been here since September 2019 were found on Tuesday at Bon Accord Development while the Venezuelans, believed to have entered the country after the closure of boarders, were held on Gaskin Bay Road, Bon Accord.
The arrests were made by Cpl Thomas and Sgt Sterling of the Crown Point Police Station.
The matter has been turned over to Immigration Division for further enquiries, police said.
