POLICE find a number of stolen items including lingerie at the Laventille home of a suspect wanted for a spate of breakings in Port-of-Spain.
The arrest was made during an anticrime exercise in the Port-of-Spain Division, on Tuesday.
During the exercise, officers of the Port of Spain CID went to the Plaisance Terrace, Laventille, residence of a suspect wanted for several breakings in the Port-of-Spain Division.
Officers found various articles of lingerie and school bags, which were previously reported stolen, and 18 pairs of shoes of various colours, sizes and brands.
The suspect was arrested and is currently assisting officers of the Port-of-Spain CID.
This exercise was coordinated by Snr Supt Stanley-Caruth and Supt Lancaster-Ellis, spearheaded by ASP Powder and included officers of the CID/CRO and supported by the Mounted and Canine Branch.
