A WOMAN has been arrested for possession of marijuana on Friday.
Some of the drugs were stuffed into snacks including brownies and gummy worms.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated that the suspect was arrested during an anti-crime exercise conducted in Piarco between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.

The TTPS stated, “ Around 6:15 pm the party of officers executed a search warrant at the Mohan Trace, Piarco apartment of the suspect, where the officers observed several marijuana-infused treats including brownies, Rice Krispies, cookies, gummy worms, peanut punch and BBQ chicken wings.”

“Officers also found several tubes of Hash Oil (Marijuana oil) and two transparent packets each containing dried plant-like material resembling marijuana, weighing 102 grams. The female suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana resin,” the TTPS stated.

The exercise was coordinated by. Snr Supt (Ag) Ramkhelawan, ASP Gyan, Insp (Ag) Pitt and supervised by Cpl (Ag)Gordon, Cpl (Ag) Ali, PC Hall and included a party of officers of the Major Operations Unit.
