The Facebook Post of the Ministry of Education with the mistaken photo of Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan
THE Ministry of Education was the butt of many jokes on social media on Thursday after it wrongly posted a picture of Congress of the People (COP) leader Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan in expressing condolences for the late Senate president Dr Linda Baboolal.
The post was supposed to be another of the many tributes being paid to Baboolal who passed away at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex on Thursday. She was 78.
It started, “The Ministry of Education joins in expressing heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Dr Linda Baboolal who passed away…”
But below the words was a picture of Seepersad-Bachan.
The post went viral on social media with many bashing the ministry.
