A quality standard issue has caused Carib Brewery to recall its Smalta 250ml bottles.
Only bottles purchased between July 14 and 20 with batch code 19199L6 1400-2000 will be recalled.
A notice on Tuesday by the Carib Brewery stated that this batch maybe under-pasteurised and “does not conform to our commitment to highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.”
It is also advising customers to transport the bottles and cases in plastic bags as a precaution.
It stated that customers who purchased the product could immediately contact its hotline at 645-2337 extension 382 or 280-1241 for further information, a full refund or replacement.
