PORT-OF-SPAIN – ANYONE coming from China cannot enter Trinidad and Tobago until 14 days have passed.

This was revealed by the Minister of Health Terrance Deyalsingh at the post cabinet news conference on Thursday.

He said this was one of the precautions the government was taking regarding the Novel Coronavirus which originated in China.

Deyalsingh said once a national or non-citizen wants to enter TT and they were in China, 14 days have to pass before they could enter the country.

He said there was no immediate threat of the virus so there was no immediate plan to stop Carnival 2020 which will be held on February 24 and 25.
