A 68-year-woman with comorbidities is the latest person to die a Covid-19 related death in Tobago.

In the latest update from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection on Thursday, the Division also stated there were 67 new cases of the virus reported with 1399 active cases.

The total number of persons who have died as a result of Covid- 19 in Tobago is now 192.

Clinical update for Tobago as at 10pm on Wednesday:

Discharges – 33

New cases – 67

Active cases – 1399 

New deaths – 1

Total persons tested – 21,410 

Overall samples that tested positive – 5,716 

Overall recovered patients –4,125 

Overall number of deaths – 192 

Total persons with partial vaccinations– 24,094 

Total persons with full vaccinations– 23,048
