WASA acting Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Romain explains that the ruptured transmission line should be repaired by 4 pm.
Residents in north Trinidad should be able to get back a steady supply of water by Thursday evening but, Romain said they may be some discolouration in the water and to just let it run out.
WASA officials took the media on a tour of the site where the work is being done at the Caroni Water Treatment Plant.
