AS the Tobago House of Assembly THA gets ready for its swearing-in ceremony of a new Chief Secretary and Assemblymen, the THA is advising of traffic restrictions on Thursday.
In a public notice on Tuesday, the THA stated that the inauguration ceremony is carded to take place at the Assembly Legislature, Jerningham Street, Uptown Scarborough, Tobago.
On Thursday several streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8 am to 2 pm.
They include: Jerningham Street, Ross Street, Piggott Street from Burnette Street Junction to Bacolet Connector Road and Bacolet Connector Road from Piggott Street Junction to the Bacolet traffic lights.
Parking will also be prohibited along those streets as well as Republic Bank Car Park and Tambrin Square/Old Market Car Park. Parking will be closed to the public in those areas from 6 pm on Wednesday to 2 pm on Thursday.
