Spain 4 vs 1 Georgia
By Gerald Lutchman
GEORGIA gave all the teams they have played so far a lot of problems but the Spanish made light work of this game with a 4 -1 victory.
Spain were absolutely dominant with 765 possession, 35 shots at goal and 13 on target with 792 passes with a 94% accuracy compared to 263 passes form Georgia.
Robin Le Normand scored an own goal to give Georgia the lead but that was the only opportunity they got and never had a shot on goal after that incident. Rodri scored in the 39th, Fabian Ruiz in the 51st, this was followed by Nico Williams in the 75th and Danny Olmo in the 83rd.
Spain will face Germany next.
England 2 vs 1 Slovakia
Slovakia thought they had the game won by a goal from Ivan Schranz in a 25th-minute strike which lasted until the 91st minute when Jude Bellingham overhead kick sent the game into extra time. Harry Kane in the 91st scored the winner.
It looked like England were out of the tournament until those late strikes gave England a pass to the next round. They will meet the impressive Switzerland next.
