THE second shipment of the second tranche of Pfizer vaccines from the United States has arrived in the country.
It means that the second tranche of 304,200 out of 907,920 of the vaccines is in Trinidad and Tobago.
It was received by Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh and US Chargé d’Affaires Shante Moore at the Piarco International Airport on Friday.
A release from the US Embassy in Port-of-Spain stated, “These free vaccines will constitute 77% of all vaccines donated to Trinidad and Tobago.”
