THE Ministry of Education has suspended the moderation of School-Based Assessments (SBAs) for onsite subjects for the period May 10 to May 23.
A memorandum sent to all principals of secondary schools on Monday stated, “The suspension is in keeping with the Ministry of Education’s mandate to support the protocols implemented by the Ministry of Health which seeks to limit face to face activities during the period stated above.
The moderation exercise for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) will resume on May 24.
Schools will be advised of rescheduled dates for the moderation exercises for respective subjects, the ministry stated.
