PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley is in New York where he is scheduled to participate at the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Dr Amery Browne, Minister of Planning and Development Pennelope Beckles and the Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh are also part of the Trinidad and Tobago delegation, the Office of the Prime Minister stated on Sunday.
Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert will again act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return.
This year’s theme for the UN General Assembly is “Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all.”
President of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly is Trinidad and Tobago’s Dennis Francis of Trinidad and Tobago.
