PRIME MINISTER Dr Keith Rowley will be out of the country for the weekend.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert will once again act as prime minister until he returns.
The Office of the Prime Minister in a Facebook post on Friday stated, “Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley departs today (Friday 11 March 2022) for a private trip to Barbados where he will spend the weekend. Minister of Finance, the Hon Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return.”
Last month, Dr Rowley visited Doha, Qatar, to participate in the Sixth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and Imbert had also acted in his place while he was away.
