ROAD rehabilitation work is the reason why there will be a temporary traffic disruption from Santa Cruz to San Juan.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a media release on Thursday stated that the disruption will take place along the Santa Cruz Old Road, from Real Street to Petit Curacaye Road, San Juan.
The disruption began on Thursday and work is expected to be completed by January 16 between the hours of 8 pm and 4 am.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, comply with instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site, drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces and to drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
The Ministry of Works and Transport apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked the public for its continued cooperation.
