TO facilitate road rehabilitation works, there will be a temporary traffic disruption in St James, Port-of-Spain.
The works are to be conducted along the Western Main Road from Roxy Roundabout to Long Circular Road in the vicinity of Courts.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a media release stated that works will begin from Monday and will continue to December 2 during the hours of 8 pm to 4 am.
Also on Monday, the ministry will be conducting road pavement markings along the Caroni Savannah Road, causing a disruption in traffic from Caroni roundabout to Caroni flyover.
Those works have been scheduled from 10 am to 4 pm.
In both instances, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, comply with instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site, drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
