CULVERT reconstruction works will be taking place all of next week, along the Eastern Main Road, Sangre Grande.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in a press release on Saturday stated that there will be a temporary disruption of traffic and brief periods of traffic stoppage on the Eastern Main Road, 46.5km to 47.5 km mark, Sangre Grande in the vicinity of Dass Hardware to facilitate the works.
Work will be conducted from Monday to Friday between the hours of 5am and 9pm.
Motorists are advised to proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, follow instructions from police officers on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic and to be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
The ministry stated that any inconvenience caused was regretted and thanked the public for its cooperation.
