Record 984 Covid-19 Cases, 11,707 Active Ones

THE Ministry of Health has reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases for one day – 984.

It also stated that 17 people have died as a result of Covid-19 on Friday. It means that 57 have passed away due to the coronavirus in the first three days of December.

In its latest Covid-19 update (#927), the ministry reported that the 984 new positive cases were taken from samples during the period November 30 to December 3.

There are also 11,707 active Covid-19 cases in the country, the most since the pandemic started last year.

Total persons with a Completed Vaccination Regime: 646,734

Total persons with Additional Primary Dose: 30,629

Percentage of patients in the parallel healthcare system who are not fully vaccinated: 89.8%, 6,408 out of 7,134 based on data from July 22, 2021 to November 17, 2021.
