THE Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government has issued a river level advisory from Saturday at 5 pm.
It stated, “Tide is currently rising and with an expected high tide at 11.01 pm and low tide at 6.54 am.”
RDLG highlighted the following rivers and their capacities:

Aripo River – 30%

Caparo – 32%

Caroni (Bamboo Settlement # 3) – 58%

El Carmen (Caroni River) – 57%

North Oropouche (Toco Road) – 50 %

South Oropoucher – 55%
Due to rising tide, the public should expect slower water runoff, and such affected communities are urged to call relevant Disaster Management Units.
