THE Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has recorded an improvement in the detection rate of murders in 2020.
This statistic was revealed by acting Deputy Commissioner of Police McDonald Jacob during a TTPS media conference on Monday.
He said, “In the first four-and-a-half months for 2020, we had solved 20 murders. From the middle of May to date, we have solved 21 murders.”
Jacob said, “This shows a 100% improvement in our detection rate.”
