A new Covid-19 hotline has been set up to answer all of the public’s queries as it relates to the law and police.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) in a press release on Tuesday stated that the hotline will come into effect from Wednesday.
The TTPS stated that Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith noted the increased concerns of various members of the public in relation to the most recent updates to the public health regulations.
“As a result of being inundated with questions from persons from all quarters of the country, the CoP has actioned a Covid-19 Legal Hotline through the Legal Department of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), in an effort to assist in the answering of all questions and concerns that the public may have,” the TTPS stated.
The public may access the new TTPS Covid-19 Legal Hotline Service via email at covidinfo@ttps.gov.tt or telephone 74-COVID (26843).
