May Starts Off Deadly: 16 Covid-19 Deaths in 4 Days

SIX more Covid-19 deaths are recorded in Trinidad and Tobago due to Covid-19 on Tuesday.

This means that for the first four days of May, 16 people have died of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health reported 235 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday taken from samples during the period May 1 to 3.

It means that for the month of May thus far there have been 882 Covid-19 cases reported at an average of 220.5 per day.

Deaths: 185

Patients in hospital: 264

Patients in step-down Facilities: 36

Patients in state quarantine: 227

Total persons vaccinated with 1st dose: 51, 283

Total persons vaccinated with 2nd dose: 196
