THE Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is actively pursuing all leads into a recent incident which occurred on Wednesday where individuals dressed in tactical uniforms intercepted a vehicle on Jerningham Railway Road, Chaguanas.
This was stated in a release by the TTPS on Friday.
It was reported that these individuals, operating a marked police vehicle, allegedly detained a 32- year-old man, one of three occupants of the vehicle, and subsequently left the scene with him.
The TTPS takes this incident very seriously and has launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter. The safety and security of all citizens are paramount, we are committed to maintaining public trust and will take all necessary steps to ensure the integrity of the service.
