PETER Hanoomansingh, the son of the former National Council of Indian Culture President, Hans Hanoomansing has died.
President of the NCIC Dr Deokinanan Sharma and members of the Board of Directors issued condolences on behalf of the organisation.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of sadness,” NCIC public relations officer Surujdeo Mangaroo posted on the council’s Facebook page.
Many also expressed shock at his passing on his personal page.
Peter Hanoomansingh was involved in academia and the media and attended St.Mary’s College in Port-of-Spain followed by the University of the West Indies where he studied sociology.
