PBS Technologies (Trinidad) Limited signs a collective agreement with the Communications Workers Union (CWU) for a 10% increase in salaries.
This according to Secretary General of the CWU Clyde Elder in a statement on Wednesday.
He said, “I am pleased to inform you that today, the CWU and the management of PBS Technologies (Trinidad) Limited signed off on the Collective Agreement for the period January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023.
“We have agreed on a 10% increase on salaries, 12% on allowances and a COLA of $225 per month.
“The discussions took place over the period August 24, 2023 to November 1, 2023.
“The discussions were very cordial and respectful though heated at times. We are indeed happy with these increases since it provides a just increase for workers and emphasizes the Company’s commitment to the workers.”
