COMMUTERS walking through City Gate Port-of-Spain on Friday will have a chance to be vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus if they desire.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh is also expected to visit the site.
The Ministry of Health in a press release on Thursday stated the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be administered from 7am to 10am at the City Gate Terminal. The staff of the North West Regional Health Authority will be on hand to vaccinate those who wish to receive the vaccine.
“This is part of the Ministry of Health’s thrust to ensure that all eligible members of the public have the opportunity to receive the Covid-19 vaccine,” the ministry stated.
