THE Hindu festival of Divali will be celebrated on Monday October 24, 2022.

The Government Communications Division noted that this day will be declared a public holiday.

It stated, “Her Excellency, Paula-Mae Weekes, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4(1) of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act Chapter 19:05, by notification, Monday, 24th October, 2022, as a public holiday in celebration of the Festival of Divali.”
