THE Board of Directors for the newly formed National Payment and Innovation Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NPICTT) has been appointed.
In August, the T&T International Financial Centre (TTIFC) was rebranded as the NPICTT partnering with the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB).
Minister of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development and Minister in the Ministry of Finance Kennedy Swaratsingh officially presented the board members with their Instruments of Appointment on Thursday.
Leading the board is Chairman Dr Nigel Fulchan.

· Shalana Sherlene Ramberran

NPICTT has been tasked with centralising the national payment infrastructure for all public sector transactions.
The initiative is poised to revolutionise the citizen experience, promote transparency, and enhance and improve overall efficiency.
The system will facilitate card and cash payments for all types of government-related services, including taxes, at NLCB terminals and an online portal.
